How Our Process Works

We keep the process simple, transparent, and proactive so you always know what’s happening.

1. Step 1 – Quick Conversation – We start with a short phone call to understand your goals, budget, and timeline.
2. Step 2 – Application & Documents – You complete a secure online application and upload your documents (pay stubs, W-2s, bank statements, etc.).
3. Step 3 – Pre-Approval – We review your file and issue a pre-approval letter so you and your Realtor can write strong offers.
4. Step 4 – Underwriting & Conditions – Once you’re under contract, we lock your rate and work with the lender’s underwriting team to clear any conditions.
5. Step 5 – Clear to Close – We coordinate with the title company, Realtor, and lender so you get your final numbers and head to closing with confidence.
6. Step 6 – Welcome Home – You get the keys, sign the docs, and celebrate. We stay in touch after closing to help with future questions, refinances, or new purchases.

I’ve been in the mortgage industry for over three decades, starting on the Northwest Side of Chicago and eventually relocating to Sarasota / Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
